Exmouth
boasts an excellent sandy beach, however it is rocky when the tide is low. The beach is approximately two miles long and is backed by an esplanade.
The Marina is on the
seafront itself and is home to numerous private and commercial fishing boats. Close to the Marina development is Duckpond, which is a popular location for kitesurfing and
windsurfing as the water is shallow and calm.
Exmouth is an ideal
location for many forms of watersports, such as surfing, body boarding, power boating, water skiing, jet skiing and sailing.
Fishing trips, with
many species of fish being caught in the area, can be arranged from Exmouth. You can also take a boat trip to see the spectacular coastline, or journey up the river.
