Lynton and Lynmouth are
the perfect gateway for discovering The Exmoor National Park and the many trails it has to offer walkers, hikers, horse riders and mountain bikers.
Lynmouth itself is
often referred to as 'Little Switzerland' such is its beauty and charm. The village is set in a wooded valley where the river Lyn entwines itself down to the picturesque harbour
area before joining with the Bristol Channel.
This harbour is
favoured by surfers, but only those who are experienced should attempt the break as it's rock strewn and has heavy currents. This should also be considered by those taking to a
canoe or kayak.
