South Devon provides a wide variety of things
to see and do, both for locals and adventure tourists. From its miles of golden beaches, perfect for watersports, to the outstanding natural beauty of its countryside which is ideally suited for hiking,
mountain biking and horse riding.
Dartmoor, again perfect for walking, horse or
mountain bike riding, also gives outdoor pursuit enthusiasts opportunities for caving and climbing. The National Park contrasts between wooded valleys, rivers and open moorland.
The South West Coast Path, from the Exe Estuary
through to Wembury, is an excellent way to take in breathtaking views whilst enjoying a walk or gentle hike.
From market towns to small picturesque
villages, there are plenty of places to shop and an assortment of superb restaurants and country pubs for eating and drinking.
The area is easily accessible from the M5 motorway and has good rail links to all its major towns.
