ACTIVE PROMOTIONS TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE (includes www.devonoutdoors.com)

All advertisers on
our site will be subject to our standard terms & conditions (which follow) unless changes to these have been agreed in writing by us.
|
|
|
|
These terms &
conditions apply to all of the advertisers which feature on our website (and in any future publications we may use in order to promote your business). This may include, for example, a printed
copy of the advertisers on our site to be left at tourist information centres. If you wish to opt out of business promotion on anything other than our website please let us know.
|
|
|
|
By submitting your
listing details to us (and by paying the required marketing cost to us) you are accepting these terms and conditions in full.
|
|
|
|
Active Promotions of
5 Champernowne Crescent, Ilfracombe, North Devon EX34 9PL, England owns and operates www.devonoutdoors.com. Its terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. It
should be noted that if any of these terms of business are held to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue with full force and effect.

PAYMENT FOR OUR SERVICE
|
|
|
|
Monthly Payment (via standing order)
|
|
|
|
The cost of your
listing will be spread over a period one year. After 11 months payments have been made you may, at any time, give one months notice to cancel your listing. If you do not cancel your advert it
will continue to be listed and you will continue to be charged on a monthly basis.
|
|
|
|
Annual Payment (via cheque, cash, or bank transfer)
|
|
|
|
Pay for your listing
12 months in advance with its renewal due in 12 months time. You will receive a renewal notice at least 1 month before expiry of your advertisement. Please note that no refunds are given if
you decide to cancel your advertisement during the 12 month period.
|
|
|
|
Our terms relating to payment of amounts billed are 14 days from the date of request for payment by us.
|
|
|
|
THE LIMITATIONS OF OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
|
|
|
|
Computer systems and
their associated equipment can never be guaranteed to be fault free. Occasionally technical errors do occur and this may result in downtime of our service. This may also occur if server and
system upgrades are required, along with updating and uploading changes to our site. Whilst we cannot ensure uninterrupted service we will do our utmost to minimise this. We undertake to
complete any required tasks as quickly as possible.

If we fail to provide
a service to you for an extended period of time, we may reduce the charges for the service provided to you as is considered to be fair and reasonable. This will take into account the nature
of the error and will represent the full extent of our liability to you.
|
|
|
|
TERMINATION OF OUR SERVICE
|
|
|
|
Listings on www.devonoutdoors.com are supplied for a minimum term of 12 months.
|
|
|
|
If you are on our
monthly payment plan you may end this agreement after 11 months payments have been made, by giving us one months notice. If you have paid for your listing 12 months in advance this agreement
will end automatically at the end of the 12 month period unless you choose to continue with your listing.
|
|
|
|
Active Promotions
may, without notice to you in advance, choose to end this agreement. If this happens and you have paid for a 12 month period we will, of course, refund a payment to you to cover the unexpired
term remaining on your listing.
|
|
|
|
Please also note that
we have the right to refuse a listing without giving a reason and will automatically reject any listing which is deemed to be offensive or unsuitable for our site. If payment has already been
made by you, this will of course be refunded to you with immediate effect.
